It was another one Greek type of vessel which had been used in the islands of the Eastern Aegean Sea in the 19th century. Its name must be relative to "Barque"  which is mentioned in seamanship of other  countries as well. The main  characteristic was the decorated counter  in stern post and the straight up cutwater. It was usually rigged as "Bratchera"  (two large square sails)  and later as "Radopsathi"  (one large square sail in foremast and a gaff sail  in aft mast ).In our days we see only small "Varkalas"  vessels and all the boats with counter in stern are usually called  so.

The specific  model is rigged as "Radopsathi".
